Shoff Fall Happenings!

SO this Fall has been a pretty normal scenario. College football games, Jake's birthday in September and my FABULOUS SURPRISE birthday in November! :), Halloween, soccer and baseball games for the boys, our 9 year anniversary in October, Jake working hard all the time, and school, school, school! Meaning the boys are both in school and SO AM I! Full time. It's crazy since I am taking College Algebra, as well as stuff for my major. I have hired 2 tutors, twice a week to help get through it. LET's just say, I will be HAPPY to get a C. Any way, here are some cute pics!

Summer 2010! Crazy Crazy!!!

So it's been one heck of a summer break..... if you can call it that! I mean, it just wooshed(is that a word?) right past me. I think I have been to the pool 3 times. And my goal was to go at least twice a week. It started in May, with the addition of Kayli Oliverson marrying Jake's brother Ricky. Here's a pic.... darling couple!

Then in June, Zach still had school but the potty training began! Brady has been much easier to potty train than Zach, but he still has the occasional accident. Whoever says potty training in a day works, must have a special magic wand that they use specifically to cast spells on potty training children! No wand used here......

I also finished my first quilt! Yes, I stippled it all by myself! Thanks Leone. You rock! It was for my close friend Jen for her 30th bday. Love you girly!


Then came July...... Ahhhh July.. The month of excitement and madness all at once! First off I had girls camp. So fun! I just love my YW....... Then came Zach and Brady's birthday's on the 13th and 14th. Zach-7, Brady-3. It was two very simple bday's this year. NOTHING FANCY! I simply couldn't handle it. My dad's bday was on the 6th as well!

Moving on. I then went straight to a Doxey/Shoff family reunion in midway which was way fun at Jake's new facility. Then the following weekend flew with my mom to Phoenix for a Webster family reunion (which was cancelled 4 days before we left, so we just shopped and ate well and enjoyed my home town!). No pics, just fun!
We came home to another bday, my brother Josh's 34! Wow you're getting up there squish~ :)
Then had a baptism for a good friend Chase Makin!
At the end of the month Jake's parents took a bunch of us to "This is the place" monument. I loved it! It was great to see where many of the pioneers settled and lived their lives. I love Brady in the coffin. :)






Then WOOT WOOT! My brother Daniel came home from his mission August 6th! We are so glad to have him home! Then My family went up to Midway and stayed at the Inn on the Creek and had a blast on the Lake and at Park City!

And then the last big event was on August 14th. My brother Nate married Karlee Suprise- whom is now Karlee Criddle. Cute name huh!? Love them to bits! Welcome to our Crazy Family Karlee!


So now Zach has gone back to school..... here's some pics of his first day.... and Brady doesn't know what to do with himself. Usually it has something to do with being naked and getting into things!

Happy 3rd Birthday Brady!

So I am late posting this since Brady's birthday was on the 14th, but I still need to do it! We are so happy Brady joined our family 3 years ago! He is such a delightful and happy boy. He was a much needed spirit in our home. Just always joyful and loving. He truly loves everyone and wants everyone to know it. My brother-in-law, Ricky, said once that Brady puts a "love spell" on everyone he meets. And it's so true. He does. I never have to say anything positive about him to others, because they just do it for me. :) I was so worried when I was pregnant with him, because he was SO active in my tummy. Way more so than Zach! So I was terrified as to what this child might be like. Boy was I happy to have such a peacemaker come out!

Brady, we love you SOOO much! Thank you for coming to our home. I really don't feel that we deserve you! I just know you came straight from Heavenly Father's presence. You had to of. I will always pray that you stay so sweet and loving. Your outside is nothing compared to who you are on the inside! Happy birthday you tall, skinny boy! WE LOVE YOU BRADY BUG!!

Happy 7th Birthday Zach!!!

So I am late in blogging this since I returned home this morning from girl's camp and had to bake Zach's cake and get ready for his bday party, but I just wanted him to know how much we love him. Words can't express the joy and sadness, all in one, when watching your child grow up. I think back to the day he was born. Of how excited and nervous we were!

And now.... I think we are still excited and nervous about the next 11 years of his life. When he grows into a young man and prepares himself for his future. It's crazy how fast it really goes! And I just know Zach will do it right! I just know it. He has every type of emotion coursing through his veins. And I just know that he will feel the power of the Spirit more than anything. I don't hope for that. I have faith that it will come to pass because that's who Zach is. He will, of course, make mistakes! But he will always know what is the most important thing and come back to it. It's innate in him.

As a parent of a young boy, we have had many dreams for him. But the most important dream of all, is for him to have what we have. And that is an eternal family and testimony of our Savior. It's just so simple and basic. And IT brings the most joy and happiness. 7 years is just a blink in the great timeline of life! But oh how I have cherished every moment my sweet Zachary. Mom and Dad love you SO much! We are so very honored you chose us to be your parents! HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY BABY!

A lot of Fam.. A lot of Fun... and A TON OF SO. CAL Sun!!

So we got back a few weeks ago from our AWESOME Southern Cali Vacation!. Bliss Bliss BLISS! Was it relaxing? Absolutely NOT! :) But it wasn't that type of vaca! It was a FUN IN THE SUN vaca! We bought the Southern Cali passes at Costco before we headed out and drove to Vegas for a quick sleep and then on the road again the next morning. I got a text from my sis-in-law asking,"Where are you?" I said, "An hour away", and that's when the fun began!!!

We drove up to 3 very excited boys and 1 unsure girl and in return gave them 2 crazy, ecstatic boys! We spent Thursday playing with the "San Diego Shoff's" ( Chris, Dianne, Hayes, Tyler, Scotty, & Caroline) and then on Friday did Sea World. And Yes, I shed a few tears during the Shamu Show. I mean Honestly, how do you train killer whales to do such things? And the music was so powerful....... Moving on. We went the S.D. Zoo the next day and a delicious dinner with the S.D. Shoffs and then to church on Sunday..... :) Yes, we do have our testimonies with us while on Vacation.

Then on Monday morning we drove to Anaheim for a 3-day stint at Disneyland..... where Emily truly becomes her kid self :). We were there from 9 am to 8:30 every night! Oh, and our kids were all wiped but it was SOO much fun. Especially since the S.D. Shoffs and some other friends joined us! Then we were going to head back to Utah on Wed. night but took one look at the weather report and said, " heck nO!!!!". So we stayed and went to Universal Studios on Thursday and then back down to San Diego until Saturday. We got home early Sunday morning and were all Wiped. But you couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces. Ba ha! Anyway, here are some pics! They not in order as you can tell. But the first pic is good cuz I said I was going to send it out for our Christmas cards. Shrek being Jake. Haha.

uuuuhhh....

I am going out of my MIND! I won't say why, specifically. Because it isn't one thing specific!! But I will tell you that I feel like a chicken without a head... running around..... trying to figure out my next precise move.....You would seriously have to call me for details.. :). BUT I LOVE YOU ALL!! That hasn't changed.. hehe...
