New Moon release

So my friend Jen and I have kind of made it a tradition now to go to the Riverton Walmart at 11:30 pm for the release of the DVD's in the Twilight series. So we met up last night and sat in the parking lot watching all the 10-60 yr old girls/women, giddily running to the store entrance. I mean seriously, it's just a DVD people! But in reality, that was not what the excitement was all about. It was about the 3 "humans" , that play Eric, Angela, and Mike that were sitting inside the Walmart entrance signing autographs and shaking hands. Last year it was "Victoria". Which by the way, was STUNNINGLY beautiful. Anyway, here is a pic of us waiting in line with all teenie boppers with their mothers. Our eyes are a little bloodshot due to the hour. They actually waited until 12:01 AM to cut the crates open. Sheesh people. And the screams that rung through the store when they did!!! Jen and I just laughed. But I guess we were a little giddy ourselves.....:) And yes, I do have a life!

Aloha and Mahalo!

The title of the post means, "hello" or "goodbye" and Mahalo means thank you in Hawaiian! Oh, thank you ALL for the prayers and kind words of support on my last post. I was a complete reck and bawled the first 15 minutes to the airport. But, I quickly got through it! :) We had an absolute BLAST on Maui! WE stayed at our timeshare, (in which we recently sold to buy my car), the Westin! It is a beautiful resort that lies right on the beach! We went with Jake's brother Chris and his wife Dianne!

It was way more fun going with another couple that we love! Our days consisted of, waking up, eating something, working out, making a sandwich to eat pool side, sitting by the pool for hours reading( Dianne listening her ipod), going to have spa treatments for the girls, golf for the boys, eating delicious sushi, yummy cheeseburgers, Annie's Hawaiian Ice (5 times), yummy bread and steaks, Mango rice with a splash of coconut rum (alcohol boiled out :), and hula pie! We also played Mexican train and did a bit of shopping as well! We did 2 adventures which were whale watching which was amazing since there were 2500 humpback whales in the bay. And drove the "road to Hana". Other than us all feeling a bit car sick by the time we reached the top, it was BEAUTIFUL! We went to the black sand beach and hiked to a waterfall through a bamboo forest! AMAZING.

It was SO much fun and I didn't miss my kids that much until the last 2 days. But the sun and I had a love affair again and parted ways until May. :( Can't wait to go again! I feel rejuvenated and fresh! Aloha Hawaii, until we meat again! I love you! Pics above!

Leaving......

I am the WORST WIFE in the world. All of my friends are so jealous I get to go to Maui with my hubby withOUT the kids and I just can't wrap my mind around it. I HATE leaving my kids. HATE HATE HATE! Don't get me wrong, I like date nights and weekend trips but 11 days will be so hard for me. Especially since Brady has come down with some crazy sickness and my mind goes to the absolute WORSE place ever. I don't even want to say the things I think of as to jinx myself. Seriously, I am CRAZY. I wrote 8 pages for my sitters of schedules, menu's, emergency contacts, insurance info, do's and don'ts...

Jake gave Brady a blessing. And Zach. And me. And I am putting my faith in those blessings. After Brady's I sat in my closet and sobbed and sobbed. And I am not one to be overly emotional but I can't help it.!! Will you all just pray for me and my kids to be safe, OH, and a little one for Jake's sanity!?
